Terms & Conditions
Last updated: April 2026
1. About these terms
These terms apply to all bookings made through sharingquran.com. By registering an account or making a booking, you agree to these terms. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any rights you have under Australian Consumer Law.
2. The service
Sharing Quran provides online booking for in-person Quran lessons conducted by a single teacher in Kellyville NSW 2155, Australia. Lessons are 30 minutes in duration. Each lesson slot accommodates a maximum of 2 students.
3. Who can attend
Classes are designed for female students of any age and male students aged 12 years or under, reflecting the teacher's practice and Islamic teaching guidelines. This is a condition of class suitability, not a general exclusion. The teacher reserves the right to decline or cancel a booking where a student does not meet this suitability requirement, in which case a full credit will be issued.
4. Booking and payment
The lesson price per student per session is set by the teacher and displayed on the booking page at the time of booking. Two payment methods are available.
Card payment via Stripe: Your booking is confirmed automatically when payment is successfully processed. No further action is required.
Cash or PayID: Submitting a request reserves your seat for 24 hours. Your booking is confirmed on receipt of payment within that window. If payment is not received within 24 hours, the seat is released and your request lapses. Payment details are provided by the teacher on acceptance of your request.
Wallet credit accumulated from eligible cancellations may be applied at checkout to reduce the amount charged.
5. Cancellation and credit
You may cancel a confirmed booking through your account at any time before the class.
When you book a slot, the teacher commits that time to your student and makes it unavailable to anyone else. Out of respect for that commitment, cancellations made with sufficient notice are eligible for a refund or credit equal to the lesson price. The required notice period is shown on the booking and cancellation pages.
For payments made by card, the refund is returned to the original card. For payments made by Cash or PayID, a credit equal to the lesson price is added to your account wallet. Wallet credit may also be used toward any future booking.
Cancellations made after that notice period has passed receive no refund or credit. At that point the teacher has already set aside her time and it is too late to offer the slot to another family.
The teacher may make exceptions at her discretion. Nothing in this clause limits any rights you have under Australian Consumer Law.
6. Wallet credit
Credit is issued in Australian dollars and applied to your account. Credits are non-transferable between accounts and non-refundable except where required by law. Credits do not expire.
7. Attendance
The teacher is not responsible for sessions missed due to student absence or lateness. No credit or refund is issued for sessions not attended without a prior cancellation submitted through the website. If the teacher needs to cancel a session, affected parents will be notified by email and a full credit will be issued.
8. Reminders
As a courtesy, an email reminder may be sent before each confirmed class. Parents are responsible for managing their own schedule and attending booked sessions. The teacher cannot guarantee reminder delivery and accepts no liability for missed classes due to a reminder not being received.
9. Your information
To use this service you provide your name, email address, and phone number. For male students, an approximate age in years is required to confirm class suitability. This information is used solely to manage your bookings and send you reminders. It is not shared with third parties and is not used for marketing. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting the teacher directly.
10. Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the service after any change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. Material changes will be communicated by email.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
